27 Dec Maintaining the Highest Safety Standards
How MedTran Spokane continues to keep rider and driver safety our top priority throughout the pandemic
According to the Center for Disease Control, the new COVID-19 variant has reminded us that there is still cause for awareness and prevention strategies for the continued spread of the Corona Virus. The CDC has been collaborating with global public health and industry partners to learn about Omicron, as we continue to monitor its course. We don’t yet know how easily it spreads, the severity of illness it causes, or how well available vaccines and medications work against it. Since there is still so much unknown about this new variant, MedTran wants to re-iterate the safety measures we take on a daily basis to keep our passengers and employees safe from pick up to drop off.

Safety is our top priority. When venturing out of the house for various needs; medical and mental health appointments, dental and vision procedures, shopping trips, a family get together, or airline travel, it is more important than ever that passengers know the individual who is transporting them is practicing adequate safety precautions in order to ensure the maximum level of safety.
At MedTran, we know that safety is as much of a priority for our riders as it is for us. To ensure a high feeling of safety, our drivers practice safety precautions including;
- Masks worn from pick-up to drop-off
- Vans sanitized in between each and every rider
- Complimentary masks and hand sanitizers supplied for riders in every van
Trust in the service and safety of MedTran; a family-owned, Spokane-local non-emergency medical transportation company that is passionate about empowering riders toward independent travel throughout the community.
